We believe that our unique approach to treatment using the PulStar instrument, and Dr. Cohen’s unwavering determination to treat the root cause of the problem is what sets us apart. The use of the PulStar instrument enables us to specifically identify and thus correctly treat the area at the root of the problem without manual manipulation. The PulStar computerized chiropractic adjusting instrument has two functions; 1) it measures the amount of movement in each joint of your spinal column, which is important because it is the lack of joint movement that causes most of the pain, and 2) the PulStar instrument makes adjustments to the specific joints of the spine in need of treatment. When it senses movement in the joint it automatically stops. It is very objective and scientific, thus targeting the root of the problem vs. non-compromised areas of the spine. We create an individualized treatment plan that encompasses chiropractic adjustments, active and passive physical therapy, exercise programs, and possibly nutritional modifications to help speed up the recovery process.
